The CERIC Satellite Event at the NESY Winterschool is back for a 2nd edition

04 March 2019, Altaussee, Austria

The CERIC Satellite Event at the NESY Winterschool & Symposium on Neutron and Synchrotron Radiation is coming up for a second edition following the success of its first edition in 2017. The event will take place in Altaussee, Austria on 4-8 March 2019.

 About the CERIC Satellite Event

The 2nd CERIC Satellite Event will take place on 4thof March 2019 and will present methods for materials characterisation and analysis that are complementary to synchrotron and neutron radiation. The lectures are intended for graduate students and early stage researchers to expand their scientific knowledge in materials science. Scientists from CERIC partner facilities will introduce them to different techniques available within the consortium, such as NMR spectroscopy (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) at the National Institute of Chemistry in Ljubjana, and ion beam techniques at Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb.

The event is organized within the framework of the ACCELERATE project, as part of CERIC’s outreach activities in Central and Eastern Europe.

The program of the session can be found here.

► About the NESY Winterschool
